3rd and 5th pics are great da Koi! Liked them....

2nd one would have been great if the crop was slightly different to have both the subject in 1/3rd and 2/3rd...

Gaandru, Took the peacock one at six flags and the fish at NY aquarium, have been pushing myself not to get an SLR till I understand basics of photography. As they say, having a good camera doesn't make one a good photographer. But yes, 2012 onward will be the year of the SLR! most probably, I think Nikon D7000. Amazon and eBay have some good combo deals going on.
