These are some shots taken at #Melkote, #Karnataka, India - around 60 kms from Bangalore. The temple is famous for housing the Vaishnavite Saint, #Ramanujacharya during the Chola reign in Tamil Nadu. There are remnants of the #Vijayanagara Kingdom nearby, and is an important historic town in South India.
